Expositions in the premises of the former water mill refer to the iron tradition of the Žďár region. Visitors will learn how medieval ironworkers obtained the basic raw materials, i.e. wood, charcoal and iron. Part of the exhibition is dedicated to the last inhabitants of the building, the Brdíček family.

The museum tells the nearly 800-year-old story of the former Cistercian monastery. The multimedia elements will literally draw you and your children into the story. The Jan Zrzavý Memorial Hall was opened in Krucemburk in 2002. Visitors can learn many interesting facts about the painter's life. There is a rich pictorial documentation including reproductions of some of his works.
