The area of monuments of folk architecture of Eastern Haná is located at the foot of the Hostýn Mountains. Village buildings reconstructed in the 1970s represent the way of living and farming in this part of Moravia in the last two centuries.

Our museum displays machines, tools and equipment used by the peasant throughout the year. And not only that. The equipment of the dirt and barns is also on display. Visitors can also see carriages, carts and tractors used in the past.

The museum's exhibition consists of three parts: the original workshop with a preserved secret passage, then you will move on to demonstrations of blacksmith's craft and finally you will find the blacksmith's dwelling.

A unique collection of horse hooves with various anomalies and afflictions. Also a collection of various types of shoes used in the treatment of various hoof diseases. Behind the glass a collection of horse's teeth at different ages - the age of the horse can be determined by the age of the teeth.

The Museum of Movie Legends features over 530 exhibits of various sizes, a Statue Collectibles gift shop, refreshments, and seating in the unique world of some of the most famous movie, comic and fairy tale heroes.

We run a museum with an exhibition dedicated to folk culture and historical art. There is an exhibition of paintings in the museum. In the exhibition hall of the museum are exhibited works of art by painters Adolf Kašpar, Jan Kobzáň, František Ondrůšek, Marie Gardavská, František Podešva, Jan Uruba, Marta Makovská and others.

The museum consists of two rooms, a kitchen and a sitting room, which are furnished and equipped with objects characteristic of the style of living from the late 19th to the first half of the 20th century.

The town museum is located in the castle building. The museum operates as part of the Department of Tourism and Culture at the Bystřice pod Hostýnem Municipal Office. There are 18th and 19th century ceramics, sculptures by Oldřich Drahotušský and the study of František Táborský.

The St. Hostýn Museum is located in the Jurkovič Hall in the grounds of the pilgrimage houses. On the ground floor there are exhibitions presenting the historical development of Hostýn and in the gallery there are exhibitions of natural history and flora and fauna of the Hostýn Hills.
