Operation of the Tupes Pottery Museum in the listed dwelling of a folk potter. The exhibition depicts the history and technology of the production of majolica pottery. There is also a contemporary pottery production and a period exhibition telling about the way of work and life of the potter at the turn of the 19th and 20th century.
The Great Moravian fortified settlement of Central Pomerania from the 9th century includes church buildings, dwellings, workshops of craftsmen and agricultural buildings, which are built on the basis of actual archaeological findings. In the open-air museum you can have a glimpse into the history of the Great Moravian Empire.
A unique metal zoo, where you will find more than 500 life-size animals made from scrap iron, the Šrotík lighthouse tower, the Hope ship, the L610 aircraft, the veterans' museum and blacksmith shop, and discarded machinery. Fun, education, inspiration in one place.
Thanks to its ideal layout, the 60 m2 exhibition features more than 350 original LEGO models made up of more than 180. 000 bricks. In the museum, you can build with the bricks, watch an educational film about the history of the LEGO brand and even buy a set.
The Human Trail introduces children in an interesting and entertaining way how sport originated, from prehistoric man to the current Olympic Games. On 11 boards they will learn a lot of interesting information about the history of sport accompanied by period artefacts for each sport.
We arrange exhibitions and lectures. We are dedicated to organizing programs for children and schools, concerts, competitions and accompanying events. Regular visitors can use a loyalty card. In our branch there is a permanent exhibition of St. Cyril and Methodius and the beginnings of Christianity in Moravia.
The memorial to Oldřich Pechal and Svatopluk Štulíř in Vřesovice is open all year round. The memorial is located at number 72 of the municipal office building. The permanent exhibition is directed to foreign and domestic resistance. A video presentation is prepared for schools and larger groups.
Exposition of folk art and folk life. Here you can see kitchen and dining room equipment from the 1920s to the 1950s. There are objects used for economic and craft activities, as well as the over 100 year old Corpus Christi altar.
