The three-chambered ossuary in the basement of St James's Church was probably built in the 17th century. After filling, the ossuary with the remains of approximately 50,000 dead was closed and eventually forgotten. It was only rediscovered in 2001 as part of the exploration of the Brno underground.

The historic core of the Old Town Hall with its tower was built around 1240. The arched passage between Radnicka Street and the courtyard is formed by a richly decorated portal with the legendary bent turret, created in 1511 by the sculptor and carver Anton Pilgram, a representative of Central European late Gothic.
Forget about exhibitions as you know them. Brno's history is damn interesting and there is nothing worse than letting it sleep in books. So we brought it to life. In our Cellar, we're mixing your grandfather's narrative with virtual reality, jumping from the distant past to the present and back again.
A space focused on the presentation of artists under 35, mainly students or graduates of Czech and Slovak art schools. In addition to solo solo exhibitions and collaborations of two or more artists, we strive to represent curated collective shows.
