We offer a unique and comprehensive exhibition of everyday life, which contains 25,000 objects from the 1950s to the 1990s. There are exhibits ranging from children's toys to mixed goods, radios and other appliances to automobiles of the time, agriculture.
We are a private gallery institution, which was initiated and its programme is sponsored by the Brno entrepreneur Igor Fait. In addition to systematically building a quality exhibition programme, the gallery aims to support the development of contemporary art.

The historic core of the Old Town Hall with its tower was built around 1240. The arched passage between Radnicka Street and the courtyard is formed by a richly decorated portal with the legendary bent turret, created in 1511 by the sculptor and carver Anton Pilgram, a representative of Central European late Gothic.

The three-chambered ossuary in the basement of St James's Church was probably built in the 17th century. After filling, the ossuary with the remains of approximately 50,000 dead was closed and eventually forgotten. It was only rediscovered in 2001 as part of the exploration of the Brno underground.
