In the place where the Svratka River bites into the rocky peaks of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, the construction of a massive castle began in the 13th century. The castle still retains its late Gothic to Renaissance appearance. The films The Visitors, How the Princesses Wake and The Devil Knows Why were filmed here.

Permanent exhibition of coins. The treasure has 284 preserved silver coins (from 2-6cm in diameter) from different parts of Europe.

We operate a museum of ghosts and legends in the premises of a former ice plant where ice was stored for butchers and the Olešnice brewery. The museum contains mannequins of an executioner, a woman on the pillory, a groom, a bride in a coffin, a witch, a polednice, a wild woman and a witch. Operation of an 18 metre high observation tower. In good visibility it offers a view of the Jeseníky Mountains, the Krkonoše Mountains and the Pálava Mountains. It is a stone lookout tower, built in 1928. It is part of the Blanické Knights Cave.

Historical monument located in the picturesque village of Býkovice. Come and see the unique working upper water mill. You will take part in the actual grinding of grain with expert commentary by the miller. You will see the whole mill, but also the water wheel and the whole mill in operation.

Offering tours of Svojanov Castle.

We offer tours and the possibility of organizing social events at the castle. It is possible to organize tours, excursions, weddings, parties, cultural events, concerts, seminars, exhibitions, etc. The castle grounds include a riding hall, restaurant, antique shop, mini-zoo, summer cinema, modern art gallery, etc.

The chateau horticulture with greenhouses, situated in the south-western part of the chateau grounds, is an integral part of this complex built since the 1860s.
