The chateau in Rokytnice in the Orlické Mountains was the ancestral seat of the Nostitz-Rieneck family for 300 years. In the 20th century, the castle was not favoured by fate. Today, the castle is once again in private ownership with the intention of returning the grounds to their original status as a noble residence.
The museum provides tours of fortifications from World War II. Offering tourist cards and stamps. There is also a function room which offers refreshments and space to warm up in the winter. The room is equipped with Wi-Fi internet access and video.
Operation of an open-air museum. We try to reconstruct the village life of the 12th - 14th centuries. There are several dwellings, a herb garden, period ovens and an orchard.
Historical building of the parish complex from the end of the 17th century, which is under conservation protection. It is a two-storey house built in the Baroque style, which, together with the outbuildings, is surrounded by a large garden with the remains of the original stone wall. The association organises cultural and educational activities for the public.
The Brandýs nad Orlicí Chateau is a historic chateau with the Amos Café and a cultural space in the heart of the Eagle Mountains. We organize cultural events, weddings, tours and community meetings. Part of the premises is a castle café with a selection of coffee and home atmosphere.
We are a cultural institution dedicated to exhibiting works of art ranging from paintings, photography to prints and sculptures. We also offer the purchase of exhibited works. We also provide space for art schools to present student work and artworks.
