The lookout tower is the oldest iron lookout tower in Bohemia. It was built in 1887 by the joint efforts of three sections of the German Mountain Association - Jablonec, Janov and Hornokamenice.

We offer a fascinating display of authentic racing machines, including Josef Machacek's legendary quad and David Pabiska's first Dakar motorcycle. Our museum showcases a wide selection of motorcycles and quads, as well as original artefacts from the world's toughest motorsport events.

Operation of the tower. From the crown of the tower, through the windows of the observation platform, you can partially see the Jizera Mountains and the peaks of their southern foothills (Maxovský Ridge with Slovanka, Bukovská hora, Tanvaldský Špičák and Smržovka Vyhlídka). The tower offers beautiful views of the Krkonoše massif and Černostudníční Ridge.

Museum operations. Organizing exhibitions of photographs, paintings, tapestries, sculptures. The permanent exhibition contains period objects, photographs and maps, presents the historical development of the town, points out interesting places and buildings, commemorates important personalities.

We offer a visit to the museum of dolls and prams in Smržovka. The visit is possible in advance by telephone appointment.

The information centre is located in the House of Jana and Josef V. Scheybal's house, which also houses the MY Municipal Gallery and the attic exhibition space.

Operate a toy museum. Exhibits on display date from 1940 to 1989. There is an old school classroom with books and equipment from around 1950.

The house dates from the second half of the 17th century and is one of the oldest buildings in Jablonec nad Nisou. The building was saved by Franz Rieger, who raised money for reconstruction. Today the house is the seat of the civic association Porozumění-Verständnis. Exhibitions are held here and German classes are held.

The ruins of Frýdštejn castle is one of the three castles of the Jablonec district. The first mention dates back to 1385. The castle was written about in Karolina Světlá's book "About Krejčíkovic Anežka". The ruins of the castle were used for filming the movies About Princess Jasněnka and the Flying Shoemaker and Murder in Our Own Way.
