The Land of the Celts in Nasavrky brings to life the fascinating world of our ancestors. The museum presents life in the early Iron Age through period crafts, educational programmes and seasonal festivals. It is an ideal destination for families and school groups looking for an interactive insight into history in an authentic oppidum setting.

Land of the Celts is located in the Iron Mountains in Nasavrky and surroundings. It is a place with a beautiful landscape and history that remembers the Celtic settlement. The centre of the Celtic Land is the Celtic open-air museum. We offer guided tours, school programs, corporate events and refreshments at the Inn U Dubového Kelta.

The villa was built in 1885 by the prominent architect František Schmoranz Sr. for Jiří Larisch-Mönich, a descendant of the famous Uhlobarenos family from Karviná.

We are a cultural institution engaged in solo and virtual exhibitions of artworks ranging from paintings, photography to ceramics, jewellery to prints and sculptures. We also offer the purchase of exhibited works and even on installments.. We exhibit works of classical and Art Decor style. Access to the gallery is wheelchair accessible.

Exposition of folk architecture in East Bohemia. Scenes for the films Lotrando and Zubejda, The Seven Ravens and the Circus Humberto series were filmed in the open-air museum. It is possible to organize a wedding ceremony in the Veselokopec chapel, in the world room of the farmhouse or in the area in front of the mill.

The museum depicts the life of small artisans during the 19th century. Today you will see the dwellings of a weaver, a toy maker and a factory worker with a shoemaker's workshop. Since the end of 2018, the museum is part of the National Museum of Nature.
