The memorial is located on the memorial grounds of a former Nazi execution site. During the second martial law in 1942, 194 victims lost their lives here. The 17th-century Romanesque church can be found in the beautiful surroundings of the Jirásek Gardens near the confluence of the Elbe and Orlice rivers. However, it has not stood here since time immemorial, it was moved to the town only in the 20th century.
