We operate a museum and exhibition hall. We offer a permanent exhibition Hall of Natives with the history of Jimramov, Life in the Highlands with a nativity scene and an exhibition The Life and Work of Jan Karafiát with a new sculpture based on the motifs of the Beetles.

We operate a pipe museum with approximately 300 items. We offer barrier-free access throughout the museum. The museum also includes an exhibition of the history of Prosečsko, period clothing, crockery, pottery, glass and furniture.

The Sokol Hall with its main hall and a hall provides complete facilities for all kinds of cultural activities. New sanitary facilities, changing room, bar, kitchen, stage with changing rooms.

We operate a museum of ghosts and legends in the premises of a former ice plant where ice was stored for butchers and the Olešnice brewery. The museum contains mannequins of an executioner, a woman on the pillory, a groom, a bride in a coffin, a witch, a polednice, a wild woman and a witch. There is also a heykal, a wanderer, a waterman and a devil.

The City Art Gallery organizes art exhibitions and maintains a pictorial collection of the city's history.

The Portmoneum is a monument of European importance. Its interior was painted and furnished with original furniture by Josef Váchal in the 1920s. A visit to this unusual space is a powerful experience for everyone.

The gallery belongs to the generation of founders of the modern art market after 1989. The natural part of the exhibition activity is publishing and publishing. The gallery has published more than 100 publications, produces films about art, and publishes graphic lists of leading Czech and foreign artists.

The birthplace of Bedřich Smetana is located in the ground floor of the former castle brewery in Litomyšl, where the composer was born in 1824. There is a new exposition which will introduce you to the life and work of our most famous composer in a classical and multimedia form.
