We are a private museum that presents a glimpse into a gendarmerie station from the late 1930s. We don't represent any particular gendarme station. However, we want to present one of several hundred gendarmerie stations that were located in the Czechoslovak Republic in the interwar period.

We offer military-historical exhibitions dedicated to the army, national defence and Czechoslovak fortifications.

In the museum, you will learn about the inventions, travels and artistic activities of Jára Cimrman and have a look into his world room.

The chateau exhibition is located on the second floor of the chateau. During the low season, it is necessary to make an appointment for tours in advance.

The Memorial to the Victims of Internment on the Great Square in Králíky is a worthy reminder of the Third Resistance and the internment of the monks who were forcibly deported by the communist regime to the monastery on the Mountain of the Mother of God in Králíky - Dolní Hedeč between 1950 and 1961.

The chateau in Rokytnice in the Orlické Mountains was the ancestral seat of the Nostitz-Rieneck family for 300 years. In the 20th century, the castle was not favoured by fate. Today, the castle is once again in private ownership with the intention of returning the grounds to their original status as a noble residence.

Historical building of the parish complex from the end of the 17th century, which is under conservation protection. It is a two-storey house built in the Baroque style, which, together with the outbuildings, is surrounded by a large garden with the remains of the original stone wall. The association organises cultural and educational activities for the public.

Our goal is to bring the monument back to life, preserve its original character, make the fast accessible to the general public, and develop cultural and educational activities related to the history of this monument and the municipality of Kosovo.
