The Beroun district hides many treasures. In the birthplace of Magdalena Dobromila Rettig you will find cultural and sporting activities, taste good food and local beer specials, play mini golf or relax on the relaxation trail.

The House of Nature of the Bohemian Karst is designed not only to serve as an entrance area to the Koněprus Caves, but also to meet all the needs of visitors and to provide sufficient facilities for the staff of the Koněprus Caves Administration.

We operate the premises and provide cave tours. The Koněprusské Caves are located in Central Bohemia, seven kilometres south of Beroun in the protected area of the Bohemian Karst Protected Landscape Area, near the castles of Křivoklát and Karlštejn. They were discovered in 1950 and opened to the public in 1959.

We offer you a unique experience in our Nativity Museum, where you can see moving nativity scenes, traditional gingerbread houses and original Christmas decorations. Our exhibitions draw you into a magical world of history and tradition, while our café offers great coffee and cakes.

Operation of a wax museum. Exhibition of collections of thematic units of Czech history, world personalities and dictators.

Offering an exposition of the Bohemian Karst, its nature and first settlement and the history of crafts of Beroun. Possibility to visit the exposition of the painter Jan Václav Spitzer.

Permanent exhibition dedicated to the history and architecture of the Pilsen Gate and the entire fortification of Beroun. The film Women of Fire was filmed here.

Operation of a lookout tower on Town Mountain. Sale of commemorative postcards. The tower is 13 metres high and has 66 steps leading up to it with circular views over the town.

The memorial is dedicated to the personality and work of Karel Čapek, Olga Scheinpflug and Ferdinand Peroutka. We organize guided tours for schools. There is also an educational trail of Karel Čapek. In the museum and bistro you can pay in cash and by card.

There is an exhibition dedicated to the history of the town of Žebrák and a gallery of Jaroslav Hnevkovský.

We offer tours in the mine. In the former iron ore mine, several hundred metres of corridors are open to the public, where unique exhibits are collected, reminding us of the glorious era of mining and quarrying in this area.

Mining exhibition on the theme of gold mining and processing in the Novoknín area. The museum is located in the historic Mint building.

We run a cultural hall. Concerts, clubs, courses and lectures take place here all year round. It is possible to rent a large and a small hall.
