The Museum of the Bohemian Countryside, a branch of the National Museum of Agriculture, is housed in Kačina Castle, one of the most important Empire buildings in the Czech Republic. The castle is one of the oldest castles in Bohemia and is still owned by the Sternberg family, who founded it in 1241. Originally a Gothic castle, it was rebuilt several times, especially in the Baroque period, when its interiors took on an almost castle-like appearance. The tour of the castle takes about 50 minutes.

The castle with its original interiors is surrounded by a large English park. A trip to Loučín will be enjoyed not only by children but also by parents. The park attracts young and old alike not only to wander in nature, but also to have a lot of fun in 11 labyrinths and mazes.
