The Museum of the Bohemian Countryside, a branch of the National Museum of Agriculture, is housed in Kačina Castle, one of the most important Empire buildings in the Czech Republic. The unique late Gothic house is accessible from the basement to the attic.

We provide presentations of exhibitions of Czech and world art of the 20th to 21st century in baroque houses and in the Romanesque cellar. There is a lecture centre, a children's corner and a café. Various art courses and other activities are organized within the lecture centre.

We operate a heritage site which is the original lime kilns. Inside there is an exhibition of the lime industry. It was built in 1893 and ceased operation in 1960.

We offer a permanent exhibition dedicated to the Celtic people living on the territory of Dobšice in the 4th to 3rd centuries BC. We offer small souvenirs, including tourist cards, tourist stamps, replicas of Celtic coins, postcards, maps, books and more.
