We provide presentations of exhibitions of Czech and world art of the 20th to 21st century in baroque houses and in the Romanesque cellar. There is a lecture centre, a children's corner and a café. Various art courses and other activities are organized within the lecture centre.

The new interactive exhibition offers a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the UNESCO organisation and its activities, with the individual monuments of the Czech Republic inscribed on its list and especially with the leading UNESCO World Heritage Site - Kutná Hora. The unique late Gothic house is accessible from the basement to the attic.

We operate a heritage site which is the original lime kilns. Inside there is an exhibition of the lime industry. It was built in 1893 and ceased operation in 1960.

The Museum of the Bohemian Countryside, a branch of the National Museum of Agriculture, is housed in Kačina Castle, one of the most important Empire buildings in the Czech Republic. The museum offers several guided tours or independent exhibitions. Throughout the year you can visit events or theatre performances.

You can see the newly renovated castle in two tours. The playing orchestrion and the view from the 30-metre high tower will attract visitors of all ages. You can also visit other exhibitions such as the World of Blocks and Dolls, the Aquatic Museum and more. Tickets can be purchased at the information centre.
