Operation of the castle where the series Crime Scene Investigation was filmed. The Baroque reconstruction in 1720-1730 was led by architect František Maxmilian Kaňka, who extended the castle with a garden wing. Liběchov Castle is also connected with the beginnings of the artistic career of the Czech classicist sculptor Václav Levy.

In the hall of the former chateau riding hall we offer a permanent exhibition of Czech modern art from the beginning of the 20th century, we also organize temporary exhibitions. Jan Palach's birth house with a small garden has seen a lot. It was created here as a place of memory of the person and deed of Jan Palach. The memorial symbolizes self-immolation as a wedge that divided society and deeply affected the fate of his entire family.
