History of Belsk to the 19th century. The museum was founded at the turn of 1906 and 1907. It was preceded by years of hard work by many amateur and professional enthusiasts, researchers and Czech patriots who had been active in the region since the 19th century.

The fairy tale The Princess with the Golden Star, The Crown Prince and the series Hospital on the Edge of Town were filmed in the castle.

We run a museum which displays exhibitions focusing on fishing and fish farming. We sell souvenirs thematically related to the museum's focus.

The exhibition hall focuses on annual exhibitions of contemporary art. The exhibition introduces the important personality of architect Jiří Kroha.
