The original fortress of the Lords of Janovice with a beautiful English park with a pond. The neo-Gothic castle is known mainly thanks to Sidonia the Magnificent of Borutín, who gave it its present appearance and distinctive charm. The lookout tower was built in 2004 and offers a view of the central Povltava region. It is 47 metres high and has 168 steps.

The former Franciscan monastery in Votice now serves as a museum and gallery. There are permanent exhibitions: the Life of the Franciscans, the Homeland Museum, the Collective Work in Votice, paintings by Vladislav Kaska and Carriages and Dolls.
