An exhibition of village buildings in the Central Povltava region from the mid-18th to the early 20th century. Regular events, including Craft Day and various exhibitions.
The wooden structure is prismatic in shape with a height of 29.70m and nine floors. After ascending to the lookout, you can see the views of the surroundings of Solenice and Solenická ppdkovy, the entire Orlické Dam, you can also see the Maková, Pribram and Kamýk nad Vltavou hills and, in good weather, even the peaks of Šumava.
Rural exhibition on the theme of the life of the villagers of the Central Povltava region in the 19th to 20th centuries. The archaeological part of the exposition presents the earliest history of the region connected with gold mining and processing.
The memorial is dedicated to the personality and work of Karel Čapek, Olga Scheinpflug and Ferdinand Peroutka. We organize guided tours for schools. There is also an educational trail of Karel Čapek. In the museum and bistro you can pay in cash and by card.
The neoclassical castle was built in the first half of the 18th century. The chateau building is part of a baroque complex consisting of the chateau building, an ash yard and a park. In 2005 it was bought by our company, which completely renovated the castle and placed its exposition.
The original fortress of the Lords of Janovice with a beautiful English park with a pond. The neo-Gothic castle is known mainly thanks to Sidonia the Magnificent of Borutín, who gave it its present appearance and distinctive charm. Here you can get acquainted with the culture and personalities of the 19th century or take a peek into the secrets of Czech bell-making.

We run a gallery where we exhibit works of Czech artists. The premises can also be used for small cultural programs, festive occasions such as graduation ceremonies, specific talks for a small group of visitors and more.
