We operate a museum in the building of the Franciscan monastery with a mineralogical collection and exhibits from the history and life of the monastery in three exhibition areas. We organize lectures and events for visitors and schools. The monastery includes gardens with a vineyard, animals and refreshments.
The Gothic tower of the Holy Gate, also called Mikulovická, represents an important part of the historical fortification of Kadana. Tickets can be purchased under the town hall in the Josef Liesler Gallery on the square.
We operate the Royal Mint Museum. The permanent exhibition is dedicated to the history of Jáchymov, examples of the mineral wealth of the Ore Mountains, silver mining with a moving model of mining activity.
We operate a tin mine (Kryštof sightseeing adit). The adit is accessible by a staircase which takes visitors down to a depth of 13 metres below the surface. The route is 400 metres long and has 11 stops. The main attraction of the entire route is the huge underground chamber at the end of the tunnel.
The white Gothic town hall tower from the beginning of the 16th century is an important landmark of Kadana. Its height reaches 53.75 m. The Josef Liesler Gallery is located on the ground floor, where you can buy tickets.
The Becher Villa Interactive Gallery is a vibrant centre for contemporary visual arts and creative education. The historic surroundings of the Art Nouveau villa, which Gustav Becher had built as his family residence in 1914, invite discovery, creation and the sharing of experiences across generations.
