Discover St. Nicholas Chapel—the jewel of South Bohemian Gothic architecture—a fascinating anamorphic portrait of Tomáš Krýza by visual artist Patrik Prošek, exhibitions, concerts, and the revitalized Paradise Courtyard with a kinetic fountain by academic sculptor Fr. We operate a heritage site which is the original lime kilns. Inside there is an exhibition of the lime industry. It was built in 1893 and ceased operation in 1960.
The Baroque rectangular ground-floor house standing on a slope at the southern edge of the grounds was built around 1728. The wide northern facade, originally opened by three wide arcades, is divided by a central shallow bay topped by a rectangular gable with adjoining volute wings.
We operate a museum in the building of the Franciscan monastery with a mineralogical collection and exhibits from the history and life of the monastery in three exhibition areas. We organize lectures and events for visitors and schools. The monastery includes gardens with a vineyard, animals and refreshments.
The church stands in the centre of the village on the site of an old church, which is mentioned as early as the 14th century. The first church was a branch church, it fell under the parish of Štock and already before 1367 it became a parish church under which other villages - Dobronín, Německý Šicndorf, Střítež, Pávov, Zborná etc.
