We offer tours of a declassified bunker from the 1970s. The former military facility served as a strategic telephone exchange. It used to house communications cables. The flagship cable was designed to carry up to 1,920 calls at a time and provide communication between Warsaw Pact countries in wartime. The building was top secret.
The exhibition depicts the war events that led to the burning of the settlement of Ploština. Other places in the vicinity that suffered a similar fate (Vařákovy paseky, Juříčkův mlýn, Prlov) are also mentioned.
A listed semi-wooden cemetery church from the second half of the 16th century inside which you can see a lapidarium with historical stone and wooden artefacts and partially restored original architecture. The church also includes an adjacent park with a nature trail.
