The original castle was first mentioned in the middle of the 14th century, when Doubí belonged to the royal fiefs of the castle in Loket and the Loket man, the knight Frencl of Dub, worked here. In 1447 the castle was conquered and in the 16th century it was rebuilt into a Renaissance chateau. In the 17th century, a park with an observation deck was built.
