It offers a view of the peaks of the Jeseníky Mountains, the town of Bruntál and its surroundings, and possibly the distant Beskydy Mountains and the even more distant High Tatras.

The main activity is the creation and implementation of an exhibition program. The museum collects objects mainly from the period of socialist Czechoslovakia. In several rooms we can see a lot of different and interesting things from period furnishings to military or hunting equipment to historical photos.
