The theatre performs plays by local and international playwrights, with around eight premieres a year. The theatre building was built in 1909 according to the design of architect Antonín Balšánek. The theatre company performs on the domestic stage as well as on tours and festivals in the Czech Republic and abroad. Costume rental is available.

We run a costume hire shop offering costumes for children and adults. You can choose from a wide range of costumes in our costume hire shop. Full costumes are available (e.g. Krakonoš, Beruška or Bee Maya), but we also offer themed costumes for hire.

I design and sew the fairy tale, carnival and carnival costumes for children and adults myself, as I studied fashion design at a university in Stuttgart, Germany, where I also worked in the field for some time.
