The museum is thematically focused on the history of the Jizera Mountains, including glass production. Individual and guided tours are possible.

Štěpánka is a stone neo-Gothic lookout tower on Hvězda Hill in the western Krkonoše Mountains, on Příchovice Ridge. The lookout tower is 24 m high and has 81 steps.

There are three lifts, five slopes and a ski school. The resort is completely covered with artificial snow, day and night skiing is possible in all weather conditions. In the museum you can see exhibits focused mainly on the Tanvald - Kořenov cog railway. The museum is located in the building of the Kořenov train station.
