The information centre offers an exhibition focused on the Šumava forests, the history of settlement, the Schwarzenberg canal and wooden puzzles for children. Exhibits of Sumava animals are an interesting feature.

Sale of promotional materials from the Šumava National Park Administration. Sale of tourist cards, stamps, commemorative coins, and much more.

We operate an information centre. We provide information about the Boubínský Forest and other protected areas in the area. We offer watching selected video programmes or listening to tales about Šumava.

We provide information about peat bogs in Sumava. You will get acquainted with the uplands, peat meadows and forests. There is an area with a children's playground, wheelchair access, audiovisual programmes, sales and non-sales materials on the peat bogs of Sumava.

Providing information to citizens and visitors to the city. Providing internet access and giving basic information about the town and its surroundings, accommodation, catering and other services in the town. Provision of sales of souvenirs.

Provide information on walking and cycling routes in the park. We organize lectures and expositions focused on the history and settlement of the upper Šumava. Exhibitions specialize in gold panning, trade routes, glassmaking, wood production, peat bog vegetation and mountain forest issues.

We operate a visitor center with air recuperation and environmentally friendly technologies. There is a 9 ha deer enclosure on the premises. Outside the paddock, a nature trail continues, introducing deer tracks, wild boar and some local trees and plants.
