Since our foundation in 1999 we have been a supplier of top quality still and sparkling (only traditionally bottle fermented) wines only from the Mikulov region and actually only from Pálava or its immediate surroundings.

Ulej Winery is a small family winery from South Moravia, which was founded out of passion for wine and honest craft. We focus on producing quality wines from carefully selected grapes, with an emphasis on purity of variety, balance and character of terroir.

We run a winery. We make quality wines so that every sip is an extraordinary experience. We strive to follow traditional wine-making practices, which consist of gentle grape processing and, above all, a natural fermentation process. We offer seating in a traditional wine cellar, wine delivery.

The winery was founded in 2012 with the aim of producing high quality, single varietal, appellation wines that are highly awarded every year at domestic and international wine competitions. Our flagship is Riesling, but we also place great emphasis on other white and red varieties.

We are a winery where tradition and youth are combined. You can taste energetic wines that are full of flavours and aromas. We take an individual approach to each grape variety, promoting the great qualities it possesses. All our wines are made with love.

We are engaged in the production and sale of specialty wines, which we produce from our own grapes. We make sure that the raw material from which we produce wine is of the highest quality. Our best varieties are Pinot blanc, Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Zweigeltrebe and Frankincense.
