Phototherapy, light therapy, is an integral part of dermatological therapy. By this term we mean the therapeutic application of non-ionising electromagnetic radiation to the skin. The main indications for light therapy are psoriasis, atopic eczema, acne, lichen, hyperkeratotic eczema and others.
