We offer teaching and development of knowledge in Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and PhD programmes. We have a Department of Biology, Physics, Geography, Chemistry, Computer Science and Mathematics, as well as a Centre for Nanomaterials and Biotechnology and a Centre for the Promotion of Science Education.

In our centre you will find specialised classrooms, lecture halls and laboratories of natural sciences and technical disciplines of Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem.

Not only for teaching. Also for meetings, theatre, festivals, film screenings (the amphitheatre is dominated by a large 5.2 m screen) or just for a picnic and coffee from the adjacent Literary Café. And, of course, for the celebration of admissions, graduations, professorships, doctorates, state examinations, clauses.

We offer studies in the Faculty of Science. The Department of Biology, specifically the Department of Anthropology, Botany and Zoology, is located at this Faculty of Science.

We provide teaching practice for students of teaching disciplines.

We offer assistance in the organisation and management of distance and lifelong learning. We organize language, social, humanities, art, technical, mathematics courses and more.

We offer theoretical and practical lessons in art and design. We are divided into the departments of design, electronic image, photography, art history and theory, general education, visual communication and applied arts.
