The basic body of the city administration is the seventy-member Prague City Council, whose 11 members form the Prague City Council. The executive office is the City Hall with specialised departments and units.

Within the framework of the Opencard project, it ensures the comprehensive operation of the central site of the Prague Card Services Centre (PCKS) and coordinates the activities of the contact points.

We can arrange the allocation or booking of registration plates on request, issue a third plate on bike racks, issue a replacement RZ if the plate is damaged with the RZ already allocated, issue data from the vehicle register, o issue company and workshop memory cards for the digital tachograph system.
The Department of Personnel and Economic Activities takes care of personnel matters of the members of the Representative Assembly, labour relations and training of employees, ensures the management of movable and immovable property, awards and evaluates public contracts and conducts inventories of assets.
It ensures the protection of the environment. Focuses on nature conservation, agricultural land and air, forestry and environmental impact assessment. Deals with offences within its material competence.
Ensures the commercial use of the immovable property of the City of Prague and acts as the lead department in property management, for housing matters, housing development concepts, transformation of the housing stock owned by the city and the comprehensive implementation of commercial policy.
The Municipal Police ensures public order on the territory of the capital city of Prague. It contributes to the protection of citizens and their property, controls compliance with public ordinances of the city, punishes offences, supervises the safety of children at pedestrian crossings.
