The Department of Personnel and Economic Activities takes care of personnel matters of the members of the Representative Assembly, labour relations and training of employees, ensures the management of movable and immovable property, awards and evaluates public contracts and conducts inventories of assets.

It focuses on the development and modernisation of technical support for basic components. It ensures the safety of the population of the capital city of Prague in the areas of crisis management, economic measures for crisis situations, military crisis situations, emergency safety system and prevention of major accidents.
