The laboratory focuses on the diagnosis and newborn screening of inherited metabolic disorders, research in the clinical applications of mass spectrometry, separation techniques and metabolomics.

Operation of the transfusion department. We specialize in blood collection and processing of blood into transfusion products. We act as a blood bank. We provide therapeutic depletion procedures for patients. We produce plasma for fractionation, perform compatibility tests and dispense transfusion products to patients.

Operation of general and revenue ambulance.

Operation of the eye department. We provide outpatient diagnostic, consultative services and surgical care which includes squint surgery, glaucoma surgery, corneal transplantation and cataract microsurgery. We provide ultrasound examination of the eye.

Operation of the radiology department. We provide diagnostic and therapeutic radiological procedures. We perform radiology of the digestive tract, uroradiology, dentistry and radiology in gynaecology and obstetrics. We focus on neuroradiological examinations, heart, chest and abdominal organ examinations.

Operation of a pulmonary ambulance. We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases. We focus on bronchitis, interstitial pneumonia and sleep disordered breathing.

We run a counselling service for facial injuries and developmental defects of the jawbone.

Operation of a surgical department. We provide primary and acute surgical care in gastroenterology, minimally invasive, colorectal, thoracic and pulmonary, neonatal and pediatric surgery. We collaborate with the trauma center and emergency room.

Operation of densitometry. Densitometry is an imaging method used to measure bone mass and is used to diagnose and monitor the treatment of osteoporosis.
