Providing civil registration and population registration. Receives and handles petitions. Maintains the information system of population registration and the permanent voters' list. Assists in organising elections and referendums. Deals with offences under the law and represents the city in administrative proceedings.

City police station. The Municipal Police was established in Telč on 1 January 2020.
