The Department of Haematology deals with laboratory examination of blood and body fluids - it performs basic and some special examinations in haematology, haemostasis and transfusiology. It also provides expert consultations in these fields. The department includes a blood bank.

Operation of an orthopaedic outpatient clinic. We provide adult and paediatric orthopaedics, chronic admission of patients, consular examination, monitoring and follow-up of post-operative conditions and traumas.

Operation of a psychiatric outpatient clinic.

The outpatient clinic checks patients after hernia operations performed by both conventional and laparoscopic methods. It also investigates and orders surgery for some less common conditions such as painful groin in athletes, recurrent hernias, etc.

Operation of the aftercare unit. The aim of aftercare is to achieve complete physical or mental health in chronically or long-term ill persons and to alleviate the consequences of illness, injury or congenital defects as much as possible, or to slow down the progression and to ensure a dignified life for terminally ill persons.

Operation of urological outpatient clinic. We perform uroflowmetry, blood sampling for PSA, ultrasound examination, puncture biopsy of the prostate, urethral dilation, epicystostomy, bladder catheterization, urinary catheter exchange and cystoscopy.
