The hospital was founded by the South Bohemia Region and has eight inpatient wards with 306 beds for acute and follow-up care and an extensive range of specialist outpatient care. The natural catchment area is the Strakonice, Klatovy, Prachatice and Písek regions.

We operate a gynecological outpatient clinic. We provide specialised urodynamic examination for urinary continence disorders, superconciliary services and oncogynaecology clinic.

We are engaged in the investigation of morphological parameters of the blood count, including the number of reticulocytes and the determination of the five-population differential of leukocytes.
