The hospital is a general hospital with an extensive inpatient and outpatient component providing primary and specialty health care for a catchment area of up to 200,000 residents.

The Social Department is established by the Šumperk Hospital to provide social services. We provide social services for a fee within the agreed scope, to users mainly of senior age.

We operate an anesthesiology outpatient clinic. We coordinate pre-operative preparation of patients and provide autotransfusion blood draws.

We run a macular clinic, which deals with diseases of the macula, the place of sharpest vision on the retina.

We operate a urology department. We offer double to triple rooms with bathroom facilities, TV and Wi-Fi connection. The department has a total of 28 beds. We focus on the management of urinary problems in connection with pregnancy and gynaecological treatment or comprehensive care for men.

We operate a mammography facility used for the diagnosis and prevention of female breast cancer.

The department is involved in the diagnosis, treatment, dispensary care and consular activities for the various departments of the hospital in the field of cancer. It collaborates in the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, malignant melanoma, and creates and maintains a regional cancer registry.

We operate an ear, nose and throat clinic. We offer comprehensive ENT examinations, endoscopic examination of the nose and nasopharynx, flexible laryngoscopy - endoscopic examination of the larynx and microscopic examination of the eardrum.

We operate an orthopedic department. We offer 38 beds as well as luxuriously equipped separate rooms. We provide post-operative rehabilitation care. The inpatient part of the department consists of 38 beds divided into double and triple standard rooms.

We operate an eye department. We provide a day surgery regime. We perform eyelid overhanging skin surgery, removal of moles in the eye area, electrocoagulation and more. We provide premium paid services such as eyelid skin sagging surgery, removal of moles in the eye area and electrocoagulation.

Operation of a neurological outpatient clinic. There is an electroencephalography laboratory, electromyography and evoked potentials laboratory.

We run a counselling centre for the visually impaired.
