The department provides study of aesthetics at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels as a separate discipline or in combination with a second discipline.

Providing instruction in medical ethics or medical psychology and introduction to philosophical issues related to medicine. We provide observation of the psychological preconditions for ethical action and analysis of irrational motives for moral and political attitudes.

We provide medical and counseling care for patients with sexual problems and offer undergraduate education in sexology. We provide diagnosis and treatment of sexual disorders, sexual identification disorders or investigation and treatment of male fertility disorders.

We provide undergraduate teaching in Immunology and Microbiology at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and provide postgraduate courses. We organise professional congresses and conferences. We are engaged in research activities focusing on the study of the influence of infectious agents in the pathogenesis of allergies and autoimmunity.

We provide teaching of Bachelor's degree courses in French Philology, Hispanic Studies, Italian Studies and Portuguese Studies, follow-up Master's degree courses in French Philology and Hispanic Studies or doctoral degree courses in Romance Languages and Romance Literature.
