In carrying out its tasks, it cooperates with other ministries, other administrative authorities, regions, relevant NATO bodies and others.

The headquarters performs state administration in the territory of the Zlín Region and is competent for natural and legal persons residing in this territory. It focuses on dealing with applications from citizens of the Czech Republic for voluntary enlistment.
