The City Council provides all the necessary information to citizens. We operate an electronic official board and e-office. You can also use the Czech POINT service at our office. Of course, in addition to the clients booked via the Internet, we also serve clients who come to the office.

Provides for the proper condition and management of City-owned roads, including their records. Participates in ensuring the proper condition of roads owned or managed by others. Represents the City in legal actions before building authorities in road matters.

Comprehensively deals with issues of social life, education, health, culture, sports and tourism in the city, their development and support. Methodically and organizationally ensures the activities of the Children's Parliament and the Student Parliament. It coordinates the barrier-free accessibility of the city.

Providing social care services to the public.

Performs the tasks of a municipal authority with extended competence and a municipal authority in the exercise of state administration in the field of nature and landscape protection, waste and water management, agricultural land, air, forests, hunting. It carries out the tasks of local government in environmental areas.

Provides for the acquisition, recording, management, maintenance, and repair of the town's real and other property, and issues purchase orders or enters into contracts for these activities. Assesses the use of existing City property, proposes changes in use, sales, exchanges, and proposes acquisition of other property by purchase or other forms of transfer.

Ensures the creation of the city's strategic plan, monitors and evaluates its implementation. Ensures the agenda for the preparation and implementation of the use of EU funds, the activities of project managers for projects submitted by the city to national subsidy titles as well as to EU or other international subsidy titles.

Ensures the performance of state administration in the field of civil registration, population registration, citizenship or the acquisition of certified extracts from information systems and registers (CzechPoint). It also keeps records of identity cards, travel documents, misdemeanours and other administrative offences.

The Department provides information support for the activities of the City Council.

Provides for the performance of governmental administration in the field of land use decision making and building codes. Deals with administrative offences against the building code. Provides state supervision. Carries out expropriations under the Expropriation Act. Issues coordinated opinions. Carries out other related tasks within the competence of the Municipality.

Care for disabled citizens and social protection of children. We deal with minority issues. We keep records of the city's property in the field of health and social affairs.
