The Technical University provides studies at seven faculties. There are seven faculties of engineering, textiles, science, humanities and pedagogy, economics, art and architecture, mechatronics, informatics and interdisciplinary studies and health studies. There is also an institute for nanomaterials, advanced technologies and innovation.

The faculty provides teaching of study programmes in economics and management, systems engineering and computer science and economic policy and administration. Operation of departments of computer science, finance and accounting, economics, economic statistics, foreign languages, marketing and business or business economics and management.

Protecting and advocating for the rights, interests and needs of its members. Aims at proposing changes and advocating for the employment and social security of professional and social groups of its members vis-à-vis the employer and other authorities and organizations in accordance with applicable laws. We provide loans and theatre subscriptions.

The faculty provides teaching of study programmes focused on teaching for primary and secondary schools and prepares professionals in the humanities and natural sciences. The traditional task of the faculty is to prepare teachers for the first and second level of primary schools and in some subjects also for secondary schools.

The department provides education in social welfare, education, penitentiary care, preschool and after-school education, special education and other social studies.

Operation of a mechanical engineering faculty and departments of power equipment, applied cybernetics, mechanics, flexibility and strength, materials, machining and assembly, engineering technology, glass machinery and robotics, machine parts and mechanisms, textile and single purpose machinery, vehicles and engines, manufacturing systems.

The department prepares future teachers of civic education. The study focuses on philosophy, political science, history and didactic-practical subjects. Currently, KFL provides service learning for nearly eighty courses in both full-time and distance learning.

Depending on their specialization, students are offered advanced studies in the specializations of Specific Learning and Behavioural Disorders, Czech Language, English Language with Didactics, German Language with Didactics, Mathematics, Music Education and Art Education in addition to the basic studies of teaching for the first stage of primary school.
