Monitoring of patients with internal diseases and consolidation of therapeutic procedures, complex preoperative examinations, insertion of central venous catheters, elective cardioversion for heart rhythm disorders.

We provide medical and preventive activities in the form of immunological and allergological outpatient clinics. We provide a consultation service for the needs of the University Hospital and other medical institutions. We deal with patients with life-threatening conditions in the surgical wards of the intensive care unit.

We operate a surgical clinic. We deal with gastroenterosurgery, coloproctosurgery and hepatopancreatobiliary. We provide gross and trauma surgery, endocrinology and onco-surgery. We also offer fellowships for medical students.

Center for preventive cardiology.

Pulmonary hypertension syndrome encompasses a range of conditions from simple left heart transmission of elevated pressures to complicated primary pulmonary vascular disease that progress rapidly and not infrequently end fatally within a few years of the manifestation of the first symptoms.

We provide treatment for substance abuse and pathological gambling, therapy for dual disorders combining addiction and other mental disorders. We also provide family therapy for addictive disorders. We focus on research on substance use and other activities.

Ocular Oncology Center provides diagnosis, surgical treatment and brachytherapy for primary and metastatic tumors of the eye. Preventive follow-up of patients with findings in which a possible malignant relapse cannot be excluded and regular follow-up of patients after treatment are integral parts of the service.

The department performs all common sonographic and sciagraphic examinations. One of the scanning rooms and the sonographic examination room are now newly renovated and fully digitized. The department is equipped with a Toshiba sonographer.
