The processing of biopsy material is currently the main focus of the pathological anatomy laboratory. It is the histological examination of tissues or organs of living patients, which in most cases is absolutely necessary for the correct diagnosis and subsequent treatment of the patient.

Providing pediatric nephrology, cardiology and other specialty outpatient care. We see children and newborns whose health problems go beyond trivial childhood ailments and do not require bed rest. We check the development of newborns whose birth or postpartum condition showed some abnormalities.

We operate a dialysis clinic. Care is provided from pre-dialysis in the nephrology clinic, through sewing vascular access and according to clinical values to inclusion in regular dialysis treatment.

Operation of laboratory medicine department. We perform basic and special examinations of biological material (blood, serum, plasma, urine, cerebrospinal fluid, stool, punctate, sweat). We process samples from hospital patients, general practitioners and outpatient specialists from near and far.

Operation of the Clinical Biochemistry and Diagnostics Department. The Department of Laboratory Medicine offers free of charge sampling material, material transport and distribution of results (in written and electronic form) for out-of-hospital workplaces in the region.

Provides comprehensive resuscitation and intensive care services for patients with ongoing or impending failure of basic life functions in the hospital and from the field, admitted from the emergency medical services.
