The Authority issues decisions on the granting of a licence and on the suspension of the trade. It maintains the trade register within the scope of its administrative district. It keeps records of agricultural entrepreneurs, issues extracts from the trade register and imposes fines for breaches of the Trade Act.

The department ensures the performance of state administration in the field of nature and landscape protection. It issues permits for felling trees growing outside the forest and imposes replacement planting. It issues binding opinions on zoning and building procedures and on procedures for granting approval for air protection.
