It keeps records of agricultural entrepreneurs, issues extracts from the trade register and imposes fines for breaches of the Trade Act.

It issues permits for felling trees growing outside the forest and imposes replacement planting. It issues binding opinions on zoning and building procedures and on procedures for granting approval for air protection.
