At the Prachatice Hospital we provide you with quality healthcare. We operate an emergency department, a children's ward, a maternity ward, a surgical ward, an internal ward, an aftercare ward, an orthopaedic-traumatology ward and a number of specialized outpatient clinics. We perform elective and acute operations.

We operate four central operating theatres and a sterilisation plant. Here we perform orthopedic, traumatological, surgical and gynecological operations.

We perform an examination that shows the area under examination in thin planes. We are equipped with a modern 64 row Toshiba Aquilion64 CT scanner.

Operation of an outpatient clinic for laser treatments. We have a Fotona laser machine which we use in aesthetic surgery to remove veins, hemorrhoids and varicose veins or to remove warts.

We provide transport of patients to the hospital for specialist examinations, to specialist doctors, home after hospitalisation, for parturients to the maternity hospital or haemodialysis centre as well as rehabilitation and spa facilities. We provide transport of biological material.

We provide cardiology examinations and specialist functional diagnostics - cycle ergometry, holter ECG and BP, spirometry.

We operate a gastroenterology outpatient clinic. We treat diseases of the digestive system such as ulcers or inflammation and tumors of the stomach. We focus on diseases of the liver, pancreas and colon and small intestine. We remove polyps of the intestines and stomach. We perform stool examination for bleeding.

We run a hospital pharmacy.

The department deals with the diagnosis and treatment of orthopaedic diseases, mainly orthopaedic procedures such as hip or knee replacements (TEP) and revision surgeries, orthopaedic procedures of the shoulder joint, foot and hand surgery, corrective osteotomies and arthrodesis.

The department carries out basic and special biochemical examinations of biological materials, especially blood, urine and liquor using various modern principles of laboratory methods. It also provides basic and special haematological examinations and consultancy services.

We operate a surgical ward with a capacity of 26 beds. We perform surgical procedures in the gastrointestinal tract. We operate on hernias and tumours and post-traumatic conditions. We offer hip and knee replacements. The department has a wheelchair accessible bathroom and a TV corner for patients.

The Rehabilitation Department provides diagnostic, therapeutic and consultative services for post-traumatic and post-surgical conditions of the musculoskeletal system, brain and spinal cord, functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially for patients with back pain, neurological disabilities and respiratory diseases.
