The first written report dates back to 1259. The village is located at an altitude of 543 metres. There are 1565 inhabitants. Provision of Czech POINT services. Primary school for 270 pupils with a day-room and dining room. The grounds of the primary school include adjacent land with flower beds, a greenhouse and a large school playground, gymnasium and an auditorium for all the pupils of the school. We run dance groups, a choir and hold religious classes.

An international educational movement for youth and children aged 6 and up organizing meetings, expeditions, events and camps. The basic mission is to promote the personality development of young people, their spiritual, moral, intellectual, social and physical abilities.
