The city is a municipality with extended jurisdiction. The municipal authority carries out tasks within the area of its independent competence that have been imposed on it by the council or the municipal council. In the area of the city's delegated competence, it performs state administration, except for matters that fall within the competence of the council, council, special authorities, commissions.

We operate a primary school with a total capacity of 390 places. It includes a school day care and a canteen, which consists of three departments. We support programmes aimed at preventing violence in school and leisure activities for pupils. We focus on an individual approach to pupils.
