The Association exercises fishing law, ensures the breeding, protection and hunting of fish, environmental protection, develops and popularizes the sport of fishing. We manage the off-trout fisheries Valová, Morava and Blata, including the gravel and sand pits U Bezměrova and Uhřičice.

We offer architectural studies, project documentation, production and delivery of reinforced concrete prefabricated structures for residential and civil construction. We carry out deliveries up to the stage of closed rough construction.

We operate a city library. We lend educational literature, fiction, poetry and magazines. There is an internet connection and an online catalogue of books. We provide lending, reservation, bibliographic information, reprographic and interlibrary loan services. We organize literary discussions and seminars.

Providing registry services. The department maintains local population registers, including reports of citizen's residence and its changes, the municipal office's filing service, the agenda of the misdemeanour commission and records of announced cultural and social events.

The Department is responsible for the management of the City's economy and the preparation of the City's annual budget proposal. In addition, the Department continuously monitors and evaluates the management according to the approved budget of the City.
