The first written record dates back to 1226. The village is situated at an altitude of 182 metres. The 13th-century Church of St. Simon and Jude and Lenešice Castle are located here. The village is equipped with a kindergarten and a primary school. We organize sports or cultural events.

Primary school for 360 pupils with a day care centre and club. The school runs extra-curricular clubs in cooking, dance, English, flute playing, health science, skilled hands and a book club.

We run a kindergarten for a total of 45 children. We have our own canteen. Qualified staff mainly focuses on the children's adaptation to a foreign environment, the acquisition of hygiene and social habits, developing independence, motor skills, healthy self-esteem or the ability to communicate with others.
